Cautions for using fire hose

 In the use of fire hose when we must master its characteristics, in order to better use it.

The reinforcement layer of ZYfire municipal fire hose is: warp is polyester staple fiber, weft is high-strength polyester filament, or both warp and weft are high-strength polyester filament; Lining for thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), EPDM, Nitrile Rubber and so on.

Cautions for using fire hose as follows:

1. Lined fire hose is suitable for conveying liquid and non-corrosive powder. Oil, acid, alkali and other corrosive chemicals should be avoided.

2. Working pressure should be within the range specified by the product model, laying should avoid sudden twists and turns, in order to prevent reducing the ability of water pressure.

3. It is strictly prohibited to drag on sharp objects when using, in order to prevent pulling the hose surface and causing abnormal use. Also prohibited to drag in V-shaped to avoid damaging the hose

4. Hard heavy objects should be avoided when pressing on the hose. When the vehicle needs to pass the laying hose, a hose bridge should be placed in the passing part in advance.

5. After use, it must be placed in a cool place to dry and rolled up to extend its service life. The fire hose used outside the building in cold areas should be fully dried before use to prevent the freezing of the hose.

6. Transport, storage process should prevent heavy pressure, exposure and rain and snow wet. And hose should isolate heat sources and corrosive substances. The hose should be stored in a dry, ventilated and cool warehouse, and should be isolated from heat sources and corrosive substances.
